Welcome to a new Soul & Jazz Mix with a extra “Tribute Bobby Womack Mix”, Classics, contemporary music and many other more.

One week ago, one of the greatest Soul Poets, Singer, Writer, Musician, Icon, passed away: Bobby Womack. In the last week I published an Interview from 2012 between Bobby Womack and Gilles Peterson. His career lasted nearly six decades working with leading musicians among other things from Sly Stone, Ray Charles, Sam Cooke and Gorillaz. I know that many of you would like to hear more Music from Bobby Womack. I found a great Tribute Mix, link and player below. I hope you will enjoy.

The new mix starts with an unplugged version from Bobby Womack, singing two of his greatest hits on the guitar: California Dreamin’ and 110th Street, performed on Jools Holland Music Show. Then we have Tango, Ska in the mix, Classics from Donald Byrd, Lee Fields, Clarence Carter, Mexican Vibes, Modern and New Music from Nicola Conte, Renegades of Jazz, Melbourne Ska Orchestra and modern Big Band Jazz from Iceland. Powerful!

Short announcement: Next saturday I will publish the second part of “Brazilian Music II” in the mix. At about 2 hours of contemporary and classic music from Brazil. Simply the best you can get for relaxing 2 hours, having a glass, making yourself comfortable.

Let the music talk and tune in.

Listen, Relax and Enjoy!
