Hibiscus Flowers where ever I look,
Reds and blues and the pretty white,
Freshly taken from a picture book,
They fill me with great delight.
Indoor Hibiscus Flowers delicate yellow,
Potted plants in my snug flat,
Great beauty that turns me mellow,
To all Gardeners I take off my hat.
The hibiscus is a flower to please,
Grown in a warm and temperate clime.
Reds, blues and whites do tease,
With glowing colours so sublime.
(Bernard Shaw)
Sehr, sehr schön:-)
Das freut mich. Dankeschön.
Beautiful Stefan, almost good enough to eat with that lovely rich raspberry stain!
Thank you very much Patti. You´re right…good enough to eat. Edible flowers are nevertheless special in taste.
Stefan
Stefan, This a a spectacular set. I agree with Patti, they look delicious. Love the poem you’ve shared, too.
Thank you very much Jane, for the compliment. I was surprised to find a poem by Shaw. It was perfect for the photo set.
Stunningly lovely delicate and vivid photographs of this amazing flower, the lighting effect is awesome. I wonder if these are hybrid. We use hibiscus liberally in our landscaping here, the red or pink, double or single. I have not seen such a rare species are these, that is not to say they are not here :). Beautiful poetry as well, very fitting accompaniment. Thank you Stefan, Holly
Thank you very much Holly. I am not an expert for flowers and plants. Here the hibiscus flower is a standard/customary flower and available in flower shops. I love too the lighting effect. It is a true beauty. Next flower I photohgraphy will be the dahlia blossom.
I look forward to that, love dahlia’s.
I love dahlia’s too. Dahlia is a true beauty and so wonderful to shoot.
They are lovely and delightful to watch bloom!
I call the dahlia a „look at me“ flower with a brilliant burst of colour. It is like colourful rhapsody for the eyes.
It is indeed, too beautiful for words!
Wunderbare Farb/Lichtspiele mit diesen zauberhaften Blüten! Sehr sinnlich. Dazu die Tropfen – toll!
Liebe Grüße,
Silbia
So ist es. Es sind Florale Pupillenaufheller und dank des Regens auch im abtropfelnden Prozess wahre Schönheiten. Sinnlich ist dazu trefflich ausgedrückt.
Liebe Grüße,
Stefan
