The Art Of Hibiscus

Hibiscus Flower
Hibiscus Flowers where ever I look,
Reds and blues and the pretty white,
Freshly taken from a picture book,
They fill me with great delight.
Hibiscus Flower
Indoor Hibiscus Flowers delicate yellow,
Potted plants in my snug flat,
Great beauty that turns me mellow,
To all Gardeners I take off my hat.
Hibiscus Flower
The hibiscus is a flower to please,
Grown in a warm and temperate clime.
Reds, blues and whites do tease,
With glowing colours so sublime.
(Bernard Shaw)

  1. Beautiful Stefan, almost good enough to eat with that lovely rich raspberry stain!

  3. Stefan, This a a spectacular set. I agree with Patti, they look delicious. Love the poem you’ve shared, too.

  4. Stunningly lovely delicate and vivid photographs of this amazing flower, the lighting effect is awesome. I wonder if these are hybrid. We use hibiscus liberally in our landscaping here, the red or pink, double or single. I have not seen such a rare species are these, that is not to say they are not here :). Beautiful poetry as well, very fitting accompaniment. Thank you Stefan, Holly

  5. Wunderbare Farb/Lichtspiele mit diesen zauberhaften Blüten! Sehr sinnlich.
