Weekly Photo Challenge Satisfaction

Hydrangea Monochrome
This is my entry for this week´s Weekly Photo Challenge “Satisfaction” which is an interesting theme. The first image I had in my mind was the hydrangea blossom captured in black and white. Love the beauty of the hydrangea/hortensia blossom with her really interesting sapels.

“Satisfaction” ist das aktuelle Foto-Wochenthema der “Weekly Photo Challenge”, was ein ebenso interessantes Thema ist. Spontan hatte ich das Foto dieser Hortensienblüte, in schwarz/weiß, im Kopf. Besonders mag ich die Blüte mit ihren interessanten Kelchblättern. Dies ist mein Beitrag zu diesem Thema.

  1. That’s gorgeous Stefan, I love hydrangea! Have a great weekend.

  2. So interesting! Doing this in black and white makes the shapes of the flowers the focus, rather than the colour. I really like this photo…

    • Thank you very much for your kind words. You matched the point that my focus was to bring out the interesting shapes of the hydrangea. Nature is imagination itself.

  3. Very cool! Would never have thought of B&W for a hydrangea but it’s beautiful. Nicely done.

    • Thank you very much for the compliment. it was a spontaneous decision to take the image in B&W and it worked well.
      Have a splendid weekend.
