Beams Of Light

Beams of Light/ Trees

“Don’t shoot what it looks like. Shoot what it feels like.”
(David Alan Harvey)

Today it gets a bit psychedelic. Look at the beams of light and contrast between the vibrant colours. They are all pushed to the maximum to get the best result and it works. The green and blues are so wonderful and made the photo special. So to say a postcard from the northern twilight zone.

Green Lake

Spring Green Lake

“A picture is a secret about a secret, the more it tells you the less you know.”
(Diane Arbus)

Green is the color most associated with springtime, growth and nature. Perfect with the view on a lake framed with green leafes and with a nice water surface reflection. Time to recharge the battery and to take a deep breathe and to relax for a moment.

Behind The Curtain

Sunset At The River

Considering the actual cold weather with lots of rain a view back. Warm colours, hanging branches which framed the beautiful sunset. Moment of silence far from noises. At least the image brings warmer thoughts on a cold and rainy day. May the spring will return soon with sun, light and mild temperatures. For the moment it is called be patient.

Happy May

And now for something completely different. Maybe it is a bit unusual here in the blog to share animal images. Because animal photography is actually not my favourite topic with a few expectations. But I love walking in nature and last weekend I saw by surprise the above bird resp. a couple of birds. So I think it is good way to welcome the merry month of may after really changeable weeks in april.

I am wishing you a happy may with light and sun in photography.

A Love Supreme

Tulip Art

After the walks along the elbe river and around the port area today it is called back to nature with a more artistic tulip. You may wonder about the title. When I am editing images I often listen to music most Jazz. This time I listened to John Coltranes master piece “A Love Surpreme”. It is an album full with myterious energy and spirituality. Together with the image this is to wish you all a happy weekend.
